FrontlinE 2-2 Empty
PostSubject: FrontlinE 2-2   FrontlinE 2-2 EmptyFri Jul 15, 2011 5:33 am

FrontlinE opens up with the entrance music of the Beautiful People, Angelina Love and Velvet Sky, who walk down to the ring in their special way. The former gets a mic handed to her and she doesn't look happy. "Lately there's been a lot of unwanted whining from a certain person wanting to be given a championship handed to her. She claims to be the dominant force in the Divas division and yet there's something she had forgot. I am still here. So Michelle, before you start on your ranting again this week, why don't I go ahead and cut you off before you start? I want you to come down here and earn the belt by beating me." At that, LayCool came down to the ring, Michelle with a mic as well as she got in Angelina's face, hovering over her with the obvious height advantage. "Are you honestly trying to pick a fight with me? Really? Really? Do you not know who I am?" "I know exactly who you are, and I know that you're nothing. I'm going to beat you and I'm going to become champion." "Is that right? Fine then, let's do it." Michelle said as she tossed her mic out of the ring and backed into the corner, Lacey and Velvet getting out of the ring as Angelina did the same. A referee got in to make it official.

Singles Match
Michelle McCool vs. Angelina Love (w/ Velvet Sky)
The thus far unstoppable Michelle McCool came into the match so arrogent that she even sent Lacey back to the back, telling her to get a cute outfit picked out for her for the victory celebration. Angelina didn't take kindly to this and dumped Michelle over the top rope and to the outside as the bell rang. The Beautiful People laughed at her which only made her roll into the ring and tackle her to mat, mounting her and feeding her punches before getting off and pushing the hair out of her face. Angelina got up and gave Michelle a forearm to the back before giving her a reverse suplex and covered for a two. Velvet clapped approvingly at ringside as Angelina took control and began to punish McCool with a combination of different moves with pin attempts after a majority of them. Michelle rolled out of the ring and as Angelina tried to go after her, the referee stopped her. This allowed Velvet to slam Michelle's face into the steel steps and then roll her back into the ring, all behind the ref's back. Angelina was left to pick up the scraps and hit the Botox Injection for the victory.
Winner: Angelina Love

Backstage, EPW Champion enters Brock Lesnar's office and sits down in front of him. "You requested this meeting?" Lesnar asked. Orton responded, "Yes sir, I was wondering if it would be possible for me to have a match tonight. You know.. I don't want to have any ring rust heading into Counter Strike." "Are you trying to tell me that you're afraid of losing?" "I mean, no.." "Are you doubting yourself as champion?" "That's not wh-" "Listen, I have faith in you as the EPW Champion and I would like to see that faith reflected within yourself. You know what I want you to do? I want you to enjoy being champion and especially enjoy tonight's main event. Find out who you're defending against and scout the competition. That's what champions do Randy. I need you to be ready for this kind of lifestyle." "Yessir, I understand." He said as he got up and left the office.

Battle Royal
Husky Harris vs. Michael McGillicutty vs. Robert Roode vs. James Storm vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Charlie Haas vs. Andy Douglas vs. Chase Stevens
All eight men got into the ring and the four respective tag-teams all took to their own corner, staring each other down. Different strategies seemed to be deployed as Chase Stevens slid out of the ring under the bottom rope to make sure he wouldn't be eliminated, Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty went after both members of Beer Money while the World's Greatest Tag-Team went after a handicapped Andy Douglas. Beljamin and Haas wasted little time in going for the first elimination as they threw Douglas over the top rope. However, Chase Stevens caught his partner and they both slid back in the ring to start battling back against the World's Greatest Tag-Team. On the other side of the ring, Harris and Storm battled back and forth while McGillicutty did the same with Robert Roode. The first elimination came when Haas got Stevens up for a clothesline and Benjamin gave a giant dropkick to him from off the top rope to send him over. Chase Stevens is Eliminated. After that, Chase's Partner got some revenge by throwing over Charlie Haas nearly immediately afterwards. Charlie Haas is eliminated. Shelton retaliated by then throwing Andy Douglas over the top rope to eliminate him. Andy Douglas is eliminated. Shelton backed himself into a corner and saw that all members of the other two teams remained while he himself was alone. Resting up a bit, he watched as the champions started to turn the tide and take control over their opponents. Not wanting to be left alone against Harris and McGillicutty, he immediately jumped Harris from behind and started to club at his back to help out James Storm. Together, the unlikely alliance eliminated the biggest man in the match with a double clothesline. Husky Harris is eliminated. Four men remained now as both members of Beer Money were left against Michael McGillicutty and Shelton Benjamin. Shelton walked over to the side of the ring where Beer Money was to show a three man alliance against the last remaining champion. As Beer Money approached McGiliicutty, however, Shelton grabbed James Storm and threw him over the top. James Storm is eliminated. At this the reality of the closeness of a victory set in to the last three men who backed away in different directions to access the situation. McGillicutty is the first to make a move as he goes after Robert Roode, whom he had been going after the entire match. Shelton out of intelligence hopped on this bandwager and too went after Roode, even going as far as to hold him up and then push him into a McGillicutter. The two men picked Roode up to eliminate him but Shelton turned on his newfound alliance once again and landed a Paydirt on McGillicutty. Getting up quickly to capitolize he gave a clothesline to Roode who tumbled over. Robert Roode is eliminated. Picking up the fallen champion next, he was able to get the deadweight up and over for the win. Michael McGillicutty is eliminated.
Winner: Shelton Benjamin

At this, Charlie Haas met Benjamin on the ramp to celebrate as the announcer proclaimed Shelton Benjamin the winner meaning the World's Greatest Tag-Team would be receiving the title match at Counter Strike.

Singles Match
Kelly Kelly vs. Madison Rayne
Madison Rayne made her entrance but when Kelly's music hit, she never came out. Suddenly, a camera man enters Kelly's locker room after knocking a few times, seeing her layed out on the tile floor. There is a little blood running down the side of her forehead and into her blonde hair. The camera man runs out of the room and into the hallway to start screaming for help and for the E.M.T.s and as the camera pans, the words "The First Of Many To Fall" were shown on the wall written in black spray paint.
Winner: No Contest, Never Officially Started

Matt Striker is backstage where he introduces the two men who viciously attacked the reigning United States and Intercontinental Champions, Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes. "Guys, last week you two seemingly attacked the two men who beat you individually at Ground Zero, for what would appear to be no reason." Ted cut him off then, "No reason? No, Matt.. I can assure you, there was a reason." "I've been apart of this business for a long time and I've never seen-" "Don't you ever compare yourself to us again. You are an ugly nobody." Cody Rhodes was the one to interrupt that time as Ted told him to leave. Turning their attention back to the camera, Cody spoke again. "Do you want to know why we did what we did last week? Have you been trying to figure it out? Is it killing you that you don't know. You people.. don't deserve to know." Ted DiBiase spoke next. "But I will tell you anyway. This is a message not just for you cretins. It is for your fallen heroes back home. It is for everyone in the back. It is for Brock Lesnar. We are putting the world on notice that we will stop at nothing to get what we want, whatever it means we must do." Cody took the lead once more to explain further. "The way we see it is, if a champion is not able to defend his title, then he will be stripped of it. After that, a new champion must be crowned and we won't stop and until we are the champions. Not until the belts are around our waists. Anyone who is in our way will end up just like Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler." At this point, it was announced that they had a live satellite feed with both Jack Swagger in Oklahome as well as Dolph Ziggler in Florida. "Ted, what you did latht week was embarathing. Not only did you prove that you had to attack me from behind, but you proved that you are worried that you can't beat me." "And Cody, if you want to play a round of Follow the Leader, that's fine. Just know that you'll be walking straight into a slaughter. Jack and I have been talking with management and we have no intentions of giving up these belts, nor will we be forced to. See, we are defending our titles against the two of you.. at the same time." Swagger spoke up again now. "That's right, you two versus us two. Winners get the belts. See you at Counter Strike." Ted and Cody didn't look happy that they had not gotten rid of the two champions and walked out of view of the camera.

Number One Contendership - EPW Championship - Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match
Kurt Angle vs. Wade Barrett vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Tyson Tomko
All four men entered the ring, each one getting in their own corner as the introductions and explanations took place of how the match would work. As soon as the bell rang, McIntyre and Barrett went after Kurt Angle and began beating him down. Tomko had no problem with letting this happen as he intelligently watched as the two foreigners took out the Olympic Hero. The Scot and the Brit began trading off moves to out-do each other, but when McIntyre went for the cover, Barrett pulled him off and went for the cover himself. McIntyre refused to let this happen and pulled Barrett off. This confrontation led to a shoving contest between the two which allowed Angle to roll out of the ring and recover for the first time. Drew and Wade began trading punches now until Barrett, the former bare-knuckle brawler, was able to take control and beat McIntyre into a corner. Tomko decided to make his first move of the match and then splashed Barrett from behind, attacking both men at the same time. Nailing Barrett with a Chainsaw Kick and then a TKO on McIntyre, he screamed out into the crowd as the last man standing. That was, however, until Kurt came back into the ring and gave Tomko an Olympic Slam, immediately slapping on the Ankle Lock. It didn't take long for the Problem Solver to realize he was trapped in the middle of the ring and started tapping. Tyson Tomko is eliminated. Kurt lowered the straps on his singlet, signalling a second wind as he went after both Barrett and McIntyre, who were simultaneously getting up in a mirrored groggy state. Angle gave a hard punch to one man, and then the other. This kept up until Drew ducked under one and began running towards the ropes but was caught by Barrett with a Black Hole Slam. Barrett then traded off with Kurt until McIntyre recovered enough to throw Angle shoulder-first into the corner post. He then gave Barrett a Future Shock and rolled into the cover. Angle spun around immediately trapped McIntyre in the Ankle Lock while he was pinning Barrett. The referee counted to three as McIntyre started tapping out. Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre are eliminated.
Winner:
